We use 1 merchant account company, Multicards, but you can use another which is Worlpay - it obviously depends on your needs as to which one will suit you.
They can be setup to use with our website/catalogue, as with most things there are advantages & disadvantages with both systems.
WORLDPAY UK
Advantages:
They are based in the UK.
They charge you 4.5% for credit cards.
They charge 50p per transaction for debit cards.
You can accept all credit cards.
No minumin payout, they will pay you if you
only have a small amount in your account.
Your business name is on the statement i.e.
the payment on your customers statement
will show as WP - your business name.
They have 24/7 technical back up by phone.
Disadvantages:
Cost £150 + vat per year, £50 set up fee
you only pay the setup fee once.
You are paid 1 month in arrears but once
you get over the 1st month you get paid
weekly.
You must have a business account they will
send a letter to your bank to check that you
are a genuine business.
Only 90% of applicants are accepted,
with multicards or 2checkout you are GUARANTEED acceptance.

MULTICARDS
Advantages:
Cost only $15 setup fee makes multicards
the most cost effective merchant.
GUARANTEED acceptance regardless
of past history.
You don ot need a business account.
They are based in holland & will send
a cheque to a personal account.
Disadvantages:
They charge you 11% for the entry level account, but you can get it as low as 5.9%.
There is a monthly maximum payout from $15000 for the entry level account, this meens that if you go over this amount the outstanding money would be carried over to the next month.
You must have a Minumin $200 in your
account before they will send you a payment.
